Meet the Doctors
Jack Bickford, DDS
Dr. Jack Bickford is a graduate of Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He also served two years as a dentist in the United States Army.
He is very involved in the dental community. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also active in the Thomas P. Hinman Dental Society. He serves on many committees in these organizations, both at the local and the national levels. In 2009 Dr. Bickford received the Georgia Dental Association Honorable Fellow award. He is also a fellow in the American College of Dentists and a member of the Pierre Fauchard dental honor society. Dr. Bickford is past president of both the West Georgia Dental Study Club and the Southeastern Professional Study club and is a founding member of the Lost Mountain Dental Study Club. He was named one of Atlanta’s top dentists by Atlanta magazine in 2010. Dr. Bickford enjoys bringing his patients the latest in dental technology. The practice of dentistry is constantly evolving and knowing what is available for the patient is extremely important.
Dr. Bickford has deep roots in the Paulding community and has taken great pride in many leadership roles. He is a past director of the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce and is a past president of the Paulding County Civitans. He also served as chairman of the Wellstar Paulding hospital advisory board. Dr. Bickford was the first Chair person of the United Way of Paulding County. He was also a founding board member of a local food bank, Helping Hands of Paulding County. He and his wife Molly are active members of Dallas First United Methodist Church. They have one married daughter with three grandsons.
When not doing dentistry Dr. Bickford enjoys mountain biking, golf and playing the guitar for his grandsons.
Bobby Shirley, DMD
Dr. Bobby Shirley attended the University of Georgia and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He completed his dental education and training in Louisville, KY at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Shirley is currently an active member of the Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, Hinman Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He enjoys the profession of dentistry and continually invests his time into continuing education in order to provide the highest quality of care.
Dr. Shirley and his wife Tish have two sons, Mac and Graham. When not working, Dr. Shirley enjoys golf, basketball, and spending time with family and friends. He and his family are active members of North Metro Church and in the community.
